Squishy circuits

Had a lot of fun doing this in my classroom. Only issue is the salt corrodes things quickly.

If I were a domestic goddess…

United Nations World Space Week

Planning to try and get all schools in the Sydney Region to turn telescopes to the sky in United Nations World Space Week (4th to 10th October). I would hope maybe the Tuesday or Wednesday!

10 schools so far have expressed interest – and Simon O’Toole is in on the idea!

If you are reading this and want to help out or be involved, please email jslaviero3@hotmail.com

To just look to the skies on that night for a few hours will be all that is required!

Let’s highlight astronomy and space science!

Science expo

Presented two workshops at the Science Expo at MacICT yesterday.

Introduced some items from the ‘Universe in a box’ program.

Lots of fun!

The moon at Avalon

Had a lovely day at the Northern Beaches last weekend. The moon rising over the Pacific Ocean was amazing!
