California Science Center

Today we went to the California Science Center. Our first activity was at the California Science Center, in the Education Center. We made rollercoasters in teams. In one activity we did rollercoaster loop the loops, one of our team’s broke the Education Center’s record of 13 loops with 15 loops! We visited the space shuttle , Endeavour. There were 25 successful flights up into space on the space shuttle. The fuel tank out of the Endeavour, the ET – 94 is the last remaining fuel tank in the world. It was also never used into space travel. The fuel from the tank only lasts about 8 minutes. We in counted our first squirrel today. We were very respectful of America’s wildlife.    By Lauren Villani

We wake each morning and read the blogs from One Small Step and what a pleasant surprise to see your story Lauren. Isn’t the space shuttle amazing. To think that it went into space so many times. Imagine what it must have been like moving it along the roadways and suburban streets to California!!! They had to cut down trees and move power lines. People lined the streets cheering.
Bet you will see lots more squirrels and chipmunks on your trip including some at Disneyland. Keep having fun. Grandma and Poppy
